US photographer Spencer Platt wins premier award
Back by popular demand is the World Press Photo Exhibition at the Southbank Centre in London, UK, on the South Bank of the River Thames between County Hall and Waterloo Bridge.
Over 200 award-winning photographs from all over the world are displayed in this exhibition capturing the highs, lows, ordinary and extraordinary times of the past year.
This year's winners were chosen from a pool of 78,000 entries from photographers and photojournalists so this is not an event to be missed.
The World Press Photo Exhibition ends this Sunday, September 9.
