The Great River Race 2007

The Great River Race has been around for over 19 years and has firmly established itself as a classic event in the London sporting calendar.
Attracting seasoned professionals and the casual leisure rower alike, the course takes you from Surrey through to Island Gardens, Tower Hamlets opposite the Cutty Sark at Greenwich 22 miles away!
This year's race is even more special - it will be the twentieth race of this competition.
Winners will receive the Challenge Trophy of The Company of Watermen & Lightermen of The River Thames thus becoming the 2007 UK Traditional Boat Champions.
When?
Saturday September 8 2007 - 12:55-4:10pm
Where?
Starting point: Ham, Richmond, Surrey
Finishing point: Island Gardens, Greenwich
How Much?
The fee for a non-rowing/paddling junior (under 18) passenger or cox in a senior (over 18) crew is £10.00 Any one source entering six or more boats will get the cheapest entry free.
