Scouting for Girls is a London three-piece pop rock band formed in 2005 by lead singer Roy Stride and lifelong mates Greg Churchouse (bass guitar) and Peter Ellard (drums).
A few months after signing their first recording contract, SFG released their debut E.P. "It's Not About You" and it became the highest charting limited edition E.P. in chart history.
Their self-titled debut album was released in late January 2008 and in just over a month since its release, it had gone Platinum and sold over 400,000 copies, peaking at #1 in the country.
