Diwali on the Square

Diwali, the traditional Indian festival of Light, will take place at Trafalgar Square on the last Sunday of October (28th).
The world famous Trafalgar Square will be transformed by magical light displays, floating lanterns, and music and dance performances.
Celebrations commence at 12:00pm with traditional Indian garba folk dancing plus sari wearing demonstrations. A stage show follows on at 3.30pm with messages and prayers for peace, cultural performances by children and young people, music and dance.
There will be something for everyone at this great family event including tasty vegetarian food, children's crafts corner, Diwali exhibition, henna painting and much more.
