The Courtauld Institute of Art at the University of London is one of the world’s leading centres for the study of the history and conservation of art and architecture.
The Courtauld Galleries contains iconic Impressionist and Post-Impressionist masterpieces, as well as numerous other important paintings and works on paper from the Renaissance through to the 20th century. A selection of temporary exhibitions are available throughout the year. These tend to be on the small scale because they are designed to offer as much food for the mind as pleasure to the eye.
