Amazing Butterflies
April 1st 2008 06:19
The Amazing Butterflies exhibition at the National History Museum this summer takes you on an exploration of the life cycle of some of the world’s most beautiful creatures in the giant maze and butterfly house.
Begin at the maze that takes you on a journey from egg to caterpillar, and chrysalis to butterfly. There's a zip slide where you can soar through the air like a butterfly. Mind your head as you enter the butterfly house. It is home to hundreds of flying butterflies and moths bred in the exhibition’s own hatchery. Your journey finishes in the beautiful butterfly garden, planted with British flowers that attract native species.
